Earth Day Practical Training – Ilala & Lupeta Secondary Schools

In celebration of Earth Day, Green Awareness Club organized a practical environmental training for secondary school students at Ilala Secondary School (Dar es Salaam) and Lupeta Secondary School (Mbeya).
The training focused on equipping students with hands-on skills in producing alternative charcoal (briquettes) from recyclable and organic waste materials, as a sustainable solution to reduce deforestation caused by firewood and charcoal consumption.

Katika kuadhimisha Siku ya Mazingira Duniani (Earth Day), Green Awareness Club tuliandaa mafunzo ya vitendo kwa wanafunzi wa shule za sekondari Ilala (Dar es Salaam) na Lupeta (Mbeya).
Mafunzo yalilenga kuwafundisha namna ya kutengeneza mkaa mbadala (briquettes) kutokana na taka mbalimbali zinazozalishwa mtaani, kama njia ya kupunguza ukataji wa miti kwa ajili ya kuni na mkaa wa kupikia, hivyo kulinda misitu na mazingira kwa ujumla.
